All about weird shapes and bold colors

Color and strokes on canvases is my way to tell a story. Stories of places, experiences, and emotions that existed right there and then. Perhaps my paintings can awaken something in you as the observer; a memory, a dream, or a longing to return to a special place.

My pieces are expressive and abstract, yet always rooted in a place. A sunset over the Moroccan desert, the silhouette of an island in the Atlantic, an evening in Vasastan. Each one is born from places that have left a mark on me. I don’t only want to depict them; I want to capture the feeling of being there, in that very moment. I paint with bold colors, playfulness, and careless shapes. I believe that to make a brushstroke come alive is not perfect lines or realism, but movement and emotion.

Painting is a balance between control and chaos. Each painting is a unique piece made with my whole heart. What starts as a blank canvas slowly transforms into a motive, taking on a life of its own. I wish to let more people experience my art, and that my stories find their way into new homes to evoke emotions and fantasies.
